Refreshing an expired CRL
If your CRL accidentally expires, then no one can log in to the host server.
- In your operating system's command-line interface, change to the \clgui\bin\misc subdirectory of your system root directory.
-
Run hcicrlrefresh. This
prompts for the CA password.
- Specify the CA password. The CA password is not hidden when you specify it, so you should ensure that it cannot be observed.
- Specify the CRL expiration date in mm/dd/yyyy format, or a specific number of days. For example, 1 for tomorrow.
- Specify whether to update the existing CRL or create a new one. The default is to update the existing CRL.
- Specify 1 or press Enter to update the existing CRL. The application updates the CRL and reports its success, showing the new expiration date, and then exits automatically.
