Starting a specific daemon
To start a specific daemon with an alert:
hcisitectl -s m -A "m=-cl foo.alert"
In this example, the alert file is named foo.alert.
For MonitorD, the available parameters are the same as hcimonitord:
-
-de eoc-pattern
enables an engine output configuration pattern. -
-dd eoc-pattern
disables an engine output configuration pattern. -
-cl cfg-list
specifies a list of alert configuration files to process. Use a space to separate multiple file names in the list. If no file name is specified, then default.alrt is processed, if it exists. -
-nl
enables non-daemon mode, where there is no log file. In this case, the Monitor Daemon runs in the foreground. This option is only used for debugging. -
-D
enables debugging information. -
-S sitename
is the site name.
